Soy bean oil causes genetic disruptions in the brains of mice

Mice fed soybean oil had number of gene malfunctions.

Around 100 other genes also affected by the soybean oil diet.

Chemicals in the oil that are responsible for the changes have not been identified yet.

But for sure they are not linoleic acid or stigmasterol.

It's best to reduce consumption of soybean oil.

Research by University of California, Riverside published in the journal Endocrinology.

But other soy products and other vegetable oils do not cause malfunctioning of genes
