Founder and CEO of Mitrix.Bio

Tom Benson is the CEO of Mitrix.Bio. Benson launched 2 companies and is the executive of Timepoint Capital.

He was also a manager at the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) facility at Stanford Linear Accelerator National Laboratory, where he gained interest in the imaging of mitochondria via x-ray crystallography and Cryo-EM. This work led him to explore the recent fundamental changes in scientific understanding of cellular energetics and mitochondrial systems of the body.
