Providing symposia and webcasts on the topic of ageing
In April 2021, we held a symposium on Autophagy & Ageing with some of the world’s leading experts on autophagy from Osaka University and Oxford University under the auspices of the Interdisciplinary Institute, Balliol College, Oxford University. That proved to be so popular with the general public, that we formed the Oxford Longevity Project to hold regular quarterly webcasts with other leading scientists and clinicians on a variety of topics around autophagy and ageing and to continue with an annual symposium on ageing.
At the same time, Sir Christopher Ball, former Warden of Keble College, Oxford, suggested we create a 2-day event here in Oxford where members of the public could interact with clinicians, scientists and lifestyle experts to help put best lifestyle recommendations into practice.
It is therefore our mission, in association with Oxford Healthspan, to make the latest breakthroughs in Longevity accessible to the general public through all of these endeavors. We sincerely hope you will join us!
Founders of the Oxford Longevity Project are professor Denis Noble, British biologist, Sir Christopher Ball, British runner and academic, Dr. Paul Ch'en, General practitioner and Leslie Kenny, certified health coach and founder of Oxford Healthspan.
