In 1999 she obtained a degree in Pharmacy at the University of Valencia and in 2003, under the direction of Prof. Jose Viña, she obtained the European PhD degree in the Department of Physiology (Faculty of Medicine, University of Valencia), both of them with the qualification of Special Distinction Award.
