Matthew Krebs

Clinical Senior Lecturer in Experimental Cancer Medicine and Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology

Matthew Krebs is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Experimental Cancer Medicine, the University of Manchester and Honorary Consultant in Medical Oncology, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust. He undertakes early-phase clinical trials of new anti-cancer drugs and researches the use of blood tests to help guide treatment selection and monitor treatment response. He is a member of the Manchester Experimental Cancer Medicine Steering Board and Precision medicine lead in Experimental Cancer Medicine Team, The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.

Krebs is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians (London). He completed Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) at the University of Leicester and completed general medical training at the University Hospitals of Leicester and Manchester. He holds a PhD in Experimental Pharmacology and Circulating Biomarkers, University of Manchester 2011.
