Global launch: Delivering prevention in an ageing world
Event about prevention in an ageing organized by International Longevity Centre UK
07-Apr-2022
It’s never too late to prevent ill health. And the health and economic costs of failing to invest in preventative interventions across the life course are simply too high to ignore.
Join us for the global launch of our new report on what works in delivering a preventative approach to health in an ageing world; how we can improve take-up and adherence to preventative interventions; what we have learned from COVID-19; and how policymakers across the world need to act to ensure prevention becomes a priority as countries build back from the damage inflicted by the pandemic.
Speakers and facilitators include:
- Garth Graham, Director and Global Head of Healthcare and Public Health, Google and YouTube
- Dr John Beard, previously Director of Ageing and Life Course, WHO
- Prof Annelies Wilder-Smith, Professor of Emerging Infectious Diseases, LSHTM and Focal Point of COVID-19 vaccines SAGE committee
