Hevolution Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to advancing research in aging biology and geroscience, has recently announced the availability of the Geroscience Research Opportunities (HF-GRO) funding program. This initiative aims to support groundbreaking research in the field of aging and promote scientific discoveries that can enhance human health and longevity. By providing substantial funding and resources, they aim to accelerate breakthroughs that can improve the quality of life for aging populations worldwide.
Eligibility Criteria
Academic investigators who are independent and have their own research space with labs in the USA, Canada, Europe or the UK, are eligible to apply for HF-GRO funding. The foundation encourages researchers with a keen interest in aging biology and geroscience to submit their proposals.
Funding Details
Aging Biology Projects: receive up to $400,000 per year ($300k in UK) in direct costs for a maximum of 4 years to support research projects related to aging biology.
Geroscience Projects: for geroscience-focused research, investigators are eligible for funding of up to $500,000 per year ($400K in UK) for a duration of up to 5 years.
Application Process and Timeline
Interested researchers should submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) by April 26, 2024. The foundation will review the LOIs and notify applicants of their decision. Successful applicants can expect to begin their research projects in late 2024.
