Professor at Chinese Academy of Sciences and Beijing Institute of Genomics
Weiqi Zhang is a researcher as well as a professor at Beijing Institute of Genomics and Chinese Academy of Sciences. Her research interests are focused on the understanding of genetic and epigenetic basis of aging and longevity, using a series of techniques including human stem cell, gene editing, experimental animal models, and genome-wide analyses.
Zhang holds a PhD in Cell biology from Peking University, after completing BSc in Bioengineering from Nanchang University.
