Postdoctoral scientist with 9+ years of academic and industrial scientific research experience in biochemistry, molecular biology and immunology. Having worked in areas as diverse as molecular genetics of aging to immunology in the context of bacterial infections, I have attained rigorous training and experience in basic and applied research as evidenced by multiple peer-reviewed scientific publications. Highly skilled in cell-based assays (cell-death assays, fluorescence/luminescence assays, drug and siRNA screenings), molecular cloning, CRISPR technology, ELISA assays, biochemical methods including HPLC and LCMS, microscopy based methods including live cell imaging, laser scanning/spinning disk confocal microscopy.
In addition to my research work, I have had direct experience in project management, by taking courses and being involved in multiple collaborative projects. I am a natural communicator as evidenced by being invited to give talks at numerous international conferences of high repute.
