The Lille University Hospital Center or Lille University Hospital is a university hospital center. The Lille University Hospital belongs to one of the largest health campuses in Europe which covers 350  hectares  divided between the municipalities of Lille ( Lille-Sud district ) and Loos , within the European Metropolis of Lille. This campus brings together the different hospitals and buildings of the CHU, but also the schools and institutes of the CHU, several higher education establishments (including faculties linked to the health field of the University of Lille ), various research centers and laboratories, as well as many companies. In addition to the largest medical faculty as well as the largest maternity hospital in France, one finds on the campus one of the largest institutes of cardiovascular and thoracic specialties in Europe.
