Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust is an integrated foundation Trust that operates from Tameside General Hospital situated in Ashton-under-Lyne. This includes Accident and Emergency services, and full consultant-led obstetric and paediatric hospital services for women, children and babies.

This new hospital is responsible for running the acute hospital services as well as community health services in Tameside and Glossop. Serving a population of over 250,000 residents, Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT was one of the first NHS organisations in the country to develop and implement an integrated care model for its local population.
