Dr. Nicholson and her team have developed an overarching strategy for Johnson & Johnson for the health of women. One priority is maternal health. J&J has a long history in mother and baby care dating back to the very early days of the company. While J&J has contributed to improving maternal and child health around the globe for more than 100 years, maternal morbidity and mortality is still too high with 50% or more of these events being preventable. Collectively, J&J with partners around the world need to reimagine how we can develop and deliver science-based, effective solutions to optimize the health of women at every stage of life.
