Pallav Shah is a Consultant Respiratory Physician at the Royal Brompton Hospital and the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London, UK. He is Honorary Consultant Physician to the Royal Marsden Hospital & also the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

His current research interests involve the role of novel bronchoscopic treatments in airways diseases. e is involved in the development of bronchoscopic techniques for lung cancer detection and management. His other research interests cover the broad area of airways disease particularly airway inflammation and physical properties of airway secretions. 

He is founding chair of the bronchoscopy advisory group for the British Thoracic Society, a member of the Lung cancer and mesothelioma advisory group for the Society, and the lead clinician for lung cancer services at the Royal Brompton Hospital and the Chelsea & Westminster Hospital.

He qualified from Guy’s Hospital Medical School and trained in General & Respiratory Medicine at the Royal Brompton Hospital, Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital.
