Nicky was appointed Honorary Research Fellow to Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Durham University September 2018.
Nicky graduated inBA Medical Sciences Tripos 2(i), MB from Cambridge University and qualified as a medical doctor with MB, BChir (Cantab), followed by post graduation Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
Clinical experience spans 25 years NHS hospital medicine, specialising in Endocrinology. Clinical attachments include sports medicine clinics in Australia (Sydney, Olympic Medical Centre Melbourne, Australian Institute of Sport) and University of Geneva. Nicky is a Sport Endocrine specialist: co-founder and medical doctor in multidisciplinary team of EN:SPIRE clinic in Bath and London for dancers and athletes of all ages and levels. Currently Chief Medical Officer of Forth Edge, providing interpretation of blood markers to athletes to optimise health and performance. Recently appointed as medical advisor to Scottish Ballet and listed on One Dance healthcare practionner directory.
