Head of bioinformatics and Honorary Senior Lecturer at King’s College London
Massimo Mangino is currently head of bioinformatics and Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Department of Twin Research and Genetic Epidemiology, King’s College London.
Massimo leads the genetic analysis of various age-related phenotypes, identifying new loci for telomere length variation, cardiovascular and immunological traits. His publications reflect research interests in the genetic basis of cardiovascular diseases and role of biological ageing in humans.
He received his Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from La Sapienza University, Italy.
