Keshav Singh is the Joy and Bill Harbert Endowed Chair and Professor of Genetics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is the Scientific Founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Yuva Biosciences. He is a leading expert in mitochondrial genetics. He is also the editor-in-chief of the Mitochondrion journal as well as Cancer Health Disparities. Singh founded the Mitochondria Research and Medicine Society in the US and India and is promoting the understanding and awareness of the mitochondrial diseases world-wide.
Singh received his undergraduate degree from Rohilkhand University and his Master of Science from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in India. He obtained his PhD in Australia and did his postdoctoral studies at Harvard University.
