Kate is the Chief Executive of Heart Research UK, a visionary charity that funds innovative medical research projects at the cutting edge of science into the prevention, treatment and cure of heart disease. Kate brings a wealth of experience from the voluntary sector having previously worked at organisations such as Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice, Cerebra, Save the Children and the Department of Health as well as being a Trustee for Women's Aid Federation England and Women's Counselling and Therapy Services. Kate is currently the Chair of the Women's Forum for Leeds.
