Jun is Director of Partnerships at E11 Bio, a non-profit Focused Research Organization building high-throughput molecular tools to map the brain connectome.
Previously, she was Chief Science Officer & Partner at IndieBio, a leading biotech startup accelerator for planetary and human health, where she advised companies, ran scientific programming, made investment decisions, and built community. Today, she continues to advise and help scientists transitioning into entrepreneurship.
Jun has always been passionate about science education and outreach. She is the co-founder of LessDeath, a non-profit to bring more people into the longevity field. She also serves on the board of a non-profit distributing resources to K-8 science teachers and students in East Bay, Community Resources for Science. In 2021, she was on Schmidt Futures Bioeconomy Task Force to promote the growth of the U.S. synthetic biology industry.
