LessDeath
Research company that helps people join the Longevity Biotechnology industry through education and more
LessDeath is a nonprofit with the mission to mobilize the world’s best talent to work on maximizing healthy human lifespan. Our programs are designed to reach out talented, passionate, mission-aligned scientists, engineers, investors and operators of diverse backgrounds and help them get oriented, get involved, accelerate their impact, and work together to break bottlenecks to progress.
While humanity has aspired to escape the suffering and decline of aging for as long as we have recorded stories, we’ve lacked the scientific understanding and technological tools to intervene in such a complex phenomenon. That ceiling has been broken - recent advances in aging biology, computational biology and synthetic biology have demonstrated that biology and aging are understandable, model-able, and modifiable. We could see significant extension of both average and maximum healthspan and lifespan in our lifetimes, but we need to re-think how we do research and technology development, how resources are distributed, how we implement healthcare and more. The usual approaches have become bottlenecks to progress - it’s time for a Longevity Biotech Revolution.
