John Bischof is a distinguished McKnight University Professor and Medtronic-Bakken Endowed Chair for Engineering in Medicine, Mechanical Engineering at University of Minnesota. He is also Director of the NSF Engineering Research Center Advanced Technologies for Preservation of Biological Systems (ATP-Bio). His research work is focused in the area of thermal bioengineering, biopreservation, thermal therapy, and nanomedicine.
