Felipe Debasa
History Professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University
Professor of Contemporary History and the Present World.
His lines of research begin with the historical study of the political and legal foundations of the European Union; and the relations of the European Institutions with the People's Republic of China. He directs the official Master's Degree in the European Union and China URJC intrauniversity with UDIMA University, carrying out research stays at the Peking University of Languages and Culture. Historical investigations of the trade routes between Europe and China have led him to study the life of Gabriel de Castilla, discoverer of Antarctica; and to work on the footprint of the Spanish expeditions in America. In 2020 he published a work that unpublished the life of Gabriel de Castilla until then unknown.
