David Baidal, M.D., is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He is also a member of the DRI's Clinical Islet Transplant Program. Dr. Baidal received his medical degree from Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador. He completed his internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami and then went on to complete a clinical and research fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center / Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston.
