CryoLabs is the only cryotherapy facility in the UK (open to the public) that operates professional, clinical quality chambers as used by professional sports clubs such as the English Premier League Football Clubs and Wales and England Rugby Federations. They are chilled by Nitrogen but this chilling process takes place outside the Chamber and it is only cold air that enters the chamber hence allowing the whole body to be immersed in the chamber and breath normally. This is unlike the nitrogen chilled “CryoPods” where you are standing in Nitrogen that is used to cool the pod and thus preventing the head or whole body from being immersed in the process. For therapeutic purposes it is extremely important that the whole body (including the head) is included.

Unlike other available Cryotherapy Facilities in the UK CryoLabs’ Cryotherapy Professional Chambers are capable of operating consistently and continuously at -135C being the proven optimum temperature for therapeutic beneficial use. Research shows that increasing the temperature of the main chamber from -135C to even -100C reduces the benefit 10 fold!
