Endocrinologist and Chief of the Medical College of Georgia's Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism
Carlos M. Isales is an endocrinologist, Regents’ Professor in the Department of Neuroscience & Regenerative Medicine and J. Harold Harrison Distinguished University Chair in Healthy Aging. He is also the Chief of the Medical College of Georgia's Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism. His research interests include epigenetic changes induced by aging and their impact on mesenchymal stem cell function and tissue regeneration.
He received his medical degree from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, specialised in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and Metabolism.
