Research Fellow at BHF Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre, Glasgow University
Dr Carlos Celis is a Research Fellow at the BHF Glasgow Cardiovascular Research Centre at University of Glasgow. Before joining as a research fellow, Celis holds a Postdoctoral Research position at the Human Nutrition Research Centre at Newcastle University (UK). Celis completed his BSc in Sport Sciences from the University of Concepcion. He holds a PhD from the Institute of Cardiovascular and Medical Science, University of Glasgow (UK). He also works as an Honorary Research Associate at the Human Nutrition Research Centre at Newcastle University.
He is currently the Director of the ELHOC Research Consortium (ELHOC - Epidemiology of Lifestyle and Health Outcomes in Chile), which includes over 25 researchers from 12 Research institutions in Chile.
