Bu Yeap is a Professor in the Medical School, University of Western Australia, and a consultant endocrinologist in the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, Western Australia. He provides inpatient and outpatient care at Fiona Stanley Hospital for people with endocrine disorders and diabetes, and mentors physician trainees and teaches medical students. He has major interests in testosterone in male ageing, the relationship between testosterone and cardiovascular risk in middle-aged and older men, and the interaction between obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular risk. He is currently President of the Endocrine Society of Australia.
