Andy Lee is Chief Operating Officer at Vincere Biosciences. Vincere is working to stop Parkinson’s disease by creating small molecules or drugs that target mitochondrial dysfunction. There is increasing evidence that a dysfunctional mitochondria can lead to the onset of Parkinson’s disease. He is also co-founder and Chief Technology Officer for Neuroinitiative, a biotech company using cloud-hosted GPU clusters to simulate the biology of diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's in the hunt for new therapeutics. He is responsible for all aspects of technology, including architecture of the patent pending simulation platform and directing the technical team. He has a passion for efficient design, usability, and a relentless focus on shipping products. Previously Vice President of Engineering at Black Knight Financial Services, he led teams through construction and implementation of HPC automation systems for the top US banks through a 90% market share for the primary product.
