NHS warns the public of celebrity endorsed bogus diets

There are no such things as 'quick fix' diets - don't get fooled by their looks

31-Dec-2019

Key points from article :

Celebrity endorsed weight loss and “get fit quick” products online are just bogus.

These diet pills, “tea-toxes” and appetite suppressant products are at best ineffective.

At worst they can be harmful to consumers.

Some of the damaging side effects are diarrhoea, heart problems and failure of contraceptive pill.

Reducing weight is much easier when done gradually and safely.

Better not to fall for claims by Rihanna, Chrissy Teigen, Beyoncé, Kardashians and many others.
