Zoe Kourtzi

Professor at University of Cambridge and Scientific Director for Early Detection of Neurodegenerative diseases (EDoN)

Deputy Head of the Department of Psychology, and Head of Research. Zoe was recently appointed as co-Director of the Cambridge Neuroscience Interdisciplinary Research Centre and she is the co-Chair of the Institute for Neuroscience

Zoe received her BSc in Experimental Psychology from the University of Crete, Greece and her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Rutgers University, USA. She continued her postdoctoral work at MIT and Harvard in cognitive neuroimaging focusing on the brain computations that support our ability to interpret sensory information and make successful decisions.
