Associate Professor at School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering, Simon Fraser University
Woo Soo Kim is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechatronic Systems Engineering at Simon Fraser University. He was selected as a Brain Pool Fellow at Seoul National University in Korea and stayed at Swiss Federal Laboratories of Materials Science and Testing, Empa in ETH Domain as a visiting professor in 2018. He was a Post-doctoral Research Associate in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
He received BSc degree from Yonsei University and MSc and PhD degrees from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in the Department of Material Engineering. He is a senior member in IEEE and one of Associate Editors of the IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices. His research interests include advanced 3D printing, 3D printed electronics, and sensing robots.
