Wei Zuo currently works as professor in School of Medicine, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. The research interest of Zuo Lab includes: 1. Adult stem cell and regeneration of multiple organs（lung, kidney, uterus, liver. etc.） 2. Construction of “human-mouse” chimeric animals and artificial human organs 3. Transformation of adult stem cells and their relationship with tumor 4. Gene editing and function augmented human construction 5. Single cell sequencing and systematic biology.

Wei Zuo is also the chief scientist at Regend Therapeutics, a global industry leader in the field of regenerative medicine for human organs.
