Vitaly Koltover
Chief researcher at Russian Academy of Sciences
Dr. Koltover, SciD (Biophysics), PhD (Chemical Physics), works in Federal Research Center of Problems of Chemical Physics and Medical Chemistry, the premier organization of Russian Academy of Sciences, at the present time as chief researcher. Dr. Koltover has more than 250 scientific publications, including books and papers in the representative journals, presented plenary and oral presentations at scientific meetings in Austria, Canada, China, France, Greece, Italy, Israel, Japan, USA, Ukraine and Russia. As invited scientist (visiting professor), Dr. Koltover worked in Austria (Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Vienna), India (Institute of Technology, Chennai, and Bhabha Atomic Center, Mumbai); Germany (Max-Planck Institute for Demographic Research, Rostock, and Institute for Physical Chemistry, Albert-Ludwig University, Freiburg), USA (National Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, University of California, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and Northwestern University, Evanston). Main fields of experience: reliability (robustness) of biological systems, aging, free radicals and antioxidants, magnetic isotopes and nuclear spin catalysis, chemical bionics.
