I work in biotechnology and data technology with a background in life sciences and current Directorships in pharmacological research, medtech, information technology, business intelligence and "big data". Coming from a background in scientific research I am able to combine a strong awareness of the technical aspects of information with a pragmatic commercial approach. I have hands-on battle-hardened experience of starting and growing companies, corporate transactions, working with private equity investors, IPOs and mergers in a number of industries including healthtech, biotech and data technology, and with board experience in international private and public companies in the US, UK and Africa. I have raised capital for active biotech and medtech companies and am carrying out business development work in the biotechnology and data technology fields. Previously I have held board and senior positions including COO of a biotechnology company, Chief Executive of a large private equity backed greenfield minerals project operating in East Africa and Director of a data driven information technology company with offices in the US and UK.
