The Obesity Society (TOS) is the leading organisation of scientists and health professionals devoted to understanding and reversing the epidemic of obesity and its adverse health, economic and societal effects. Combining the perspective of researchers, clinicians, policymakers and patients, TOS promotes innovative research, education, and evidence-based clinical care to improve the health and well-being of all people with obesity.
The Society has more than 2,500 members, including researchers, healthcare providers and others working in obesity science, treatment and prevention.
TOS publishes two journals, including the leading peer-reviewed scientific journal in the field, Obesity, and an open-access journal, Obesity Science & Practice.
The Society's annual meeting, ObesityWeek®, brings in more than 5,000 obesity professionals.
