The Shenyang Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SIACAS) was founded in November 1958. For more than 60 years, SIA has advanced automation science and engineering, making significant contributions to society, the economy and national security.
SIA’s research focuses on robotics, intelligent manufacturing and opto-electronic information technology. As the cradle of China’s robotics technology, the institute has had more than 20 “firsts” in robotics development in China, making it the national leader.
SIA is a comprehensive research institute.
