Chief Science Officer at Medical Research Council
Robin Buckle is a Chief Science Officer at the MRC, a role that includes responsibility for the MRC’s Units, Centres, and Institutes, as well as its head office scientific operations, Boards and Committees. He leads many science implementation programmes in select areas and acts as an ambassador for the MRC, developing networks and inter-organisational relationships and providing a public voice both nationally and internationally. He works to optimise internal and external communications, funding, review and governance arrangements, to ensure continuous evolution and integration of the MRC's work into UKRI.
