Roberto Ripa

Postdoctoral Researcher at Max Planck Institute for Biology of Aging

Roberto Ripa graduated from the University of Pisa (Italy) with a degree in Molecular Biology. Following that, he earned his Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, where his research focused on investigating the interplay between iron metabolism and brain aging using killifish and mice as model organisms. Subsequently, Roberto embarked on a postdoctoral position in Adam Antebi's lab at the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Aging in Cologne, where he is currently working. Here, his research is dedicated to studying the regulation of nutrient-responsive signaling in aging vertebrates.
