Robert Reinhart uses a variety of experimental techniques, including psychophysics, eye movements, electrophysiology, and noninvasive brain stimulation to address theoretically important questions in mainstream cognitive and clinical psychology, and develop innovative methods for improving information processing and performance in healthy individuals and those with neuropsychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia. His work is focused on understanding the mechanisms of dynamic cognitive processing, including voluntary attention, working memory, performance monitoring, and learning.
