Robert D. Young
Director at Gerontology Research Group and GWR’s lead consultant for gerontology
Robert Douglas Young was born in the USA in 1974. He is the Director of the GRG Supercentenarian Research and Database Division. His duties involve managing the other admins, attend conferences representing the GRG, preparing scientific tables and publications, managing all applications, putting them in order, filling the data, and moving cases forward. In addition, he is the GRG Senior Claims Investigator, Moderator of the World's Oldest People Group; and Senior Gerontology Consultant for the Guinness Book of World Records, since 2005. Robert Young has been a years-long participant of Supercentenarian Workshop conferences organized by Max Planck Institute of Demographic Research. Since 2008, he has been an author or co-author of at least 15 publications in the Rejuvenation Research scientific journal.
