Professor of Mathematical Biosciences at the University of Exeter.

We develop mathematical models of antibiotic resistance evolution that occurs in our laboratory. We use genomic / molecular tools to understand the resistance phenotypes we observe - to hopefully understand how to prevent them occurring in the first place.
