Exosomes are nano-sized particles that facilitate the communication between cells through the transfer of biologically active molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids (RNA and DNA). Large numbers of exosomes are secreted into the culture media during the expansion of our stem cells. Following purification, these natural delivery vehicles can be modified or ‘loaded’ with complex, hard-to-deliver therapeutic agents to specific areas of the body.
