Professor of psychiatry and of neuroscience at Yale School of Medicine
Ralph DiLeone is a distinguished Professor of Psychiatry and Neuroscience at Yale University, where he also serves as the Deputy Director of the Abraham Ribicoff Research Facilities. He earned his PhD in Developmental Biology from Stanford University in 1998, following a BA in Biology-Chemistry from Skidmore College in 1992. Dr. DiLeone’s research primarily focuses on understanding the molecular and neural bases of behavior, with a particular emphasis on the neurocircuitry that governs responses to natural rewards, such as food, as well as drugs of abuse.
