Paul Epping
Exponential Transformation leader, Futurist, Global Keynote Speaker, Creator 'Xconmy'.
Paul studied nursing, social pedagogy, didactics, philosophy, and information science. He was a lecturer for over 12 years at the University of Leiden in nursing informatics, information management, and philosophy of science. He is an entrepreneur, consultant, interim manager, program manager, and expert in HIS / EMR since 2000.
Standards, both care-related (such as care pathways) and technical (such as CCR / CCD), are his main focus and he shares his knowledge in them with a large network. He has also been a chairman of the NEN standards committees “messaging” and “information models”.
He proudly calls himself alumnus of Singularity University and is a member of the World Futurist Society. In addition to all professional activities, he is an “Out of the box” thinker and trend watcher — especially of exponentially accelerating technology. Innovation is the common thread of his professional career.
Paul earned his MSc in Social Sciences at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 1985. He studied Information Science/Studies at the University of Groningen and graduated from Singularity University in 2011. He earned a Certificate in Strategic and Practical Forecasting Methods from Academy SZW in 2014.
