Professor of Pharmacy and Medicine at the University of Central Lancashire
Dr Mohamed Albed Alhnan is a lecturer in Pharmaceutics in the School of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences. Mohamed worked on his PhD project in University College London (UCL) School of Pharmacy. Mohamed expanded his expertise to the design and optimization of coating systems using natural and commercially available polymers or novel materials. He also worked on protein formulation design and characterization for oral drug delivery and the challenges of maintaining of protein integrity and structural activity during manufacturing, storage as well as in the hostile acidic environment of the stomach.
