Professor at University of Utah
Micah Drummond is currently a professor of physical therapy & athletic training, as well as adjunct assistant professor in nutrition & integrative physiology, pathology, and internal medicine at University of Utah. His research is mainly focused on understanding the cellular and molecular mechanisms of muscle growth and metabolic function in healthy and mobility impaired older adults, as well as novel exercise and nutritional strategies to improve muscle, metabolic and physical function deficits in older adults recovery during rehabilitation.
Drummond completed BS in Sports Medicine from California Lutheran University, MA in Sport Sciences from University of the Pacific, PhD in Exercise Sciences from Brigham Young University, and postdoctoral fellowship in Muscle Biology from University of Texas.
