• PhD Scientist with over 11 years’ experience in pluripotent stem cell biology, molecular biology, cell reprogramming, directed cell differentiation and cell fate determination, and 5 years' experience of in vitro micro tissue engineering, muscular disease modeling, and regenerative medicine.

• Extensive experience with manipulating stem cells, immortalized cell lines and primary cells, designing/creating plasmid constructs, packaging, tittering and QC for lentiviral particles. 

• Areas of expertise include stem cell biology, muscular disease modeling, hydrogel based tissue engineering.

• Broad skills in cellular and molecular biology, including immortalized, 2D or 3D primary cell culture and hES and hiPS cell culture, myogenic and cardiac differentiation of hiPS and hES cells, cell and tissue implantation, manipulating of virus, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, IHC, ICC, protein/DNA/RNA analysis, TALEN and CRISPR/Cas9 based genome editing.
