Peer-reviewed open access journal publishing research on tissue engineering and regeneration
Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine is an open access journal that publishes peer-reviewed original articles on the development of therapeutic approaches to repair, replace, restore, regenerate, or improve tissue or organ function. Areas of interest include basic science, preclinical, translational, and clinical studies for all tissue engineering and regenerative medicine-related disciplines.
The journal focuses on the use of cells, materials, and biochemical/mechanical factors in the development of biological functional substitutes that restore, maintain, or improve tissue or organ function. Manuscripts describing the use of advanced methods for the characterization of engineered tissues are also of special interest to the journal readership. The journal also focuses on the use of bioreactors for cell seeding, culturing and stimulation of cell differentiation. Papers on industrial and patent aspects of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine are also within the scope of the journal.
