Jim Reed is working as a health reporter at BBC since seven years and published reports from France, Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary and the UAE. Before joining the World Tonight team he spent nine months reporting for the BBC's Newsnight programme. He worked as the senior planning reporter on BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat where he was shortlisted for two Sony awards, including news journalist of the year.
Jim studied economics at the University of East Anglia and spent two years as a post-graduate at City University studying broadcast journalism.
