The BBC has promoted Jean Mackenzie to the post of Seoul correspondent.

Recently, Mackenzie was a Europe correspondent. Before that, she was a reporter for BBC Essex, reporter for Radio 1 Newsbeat at the BBC and reporter/producer for BBC London News.

She has also served as a reporter, Victoria Derbyshire Program at BBC.

Mackenzie graduated from the University of Nottingham.
