Ioanna Tzoulaki is Senior Lecturer in Epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, at Imperial College London, UK. She also holds an appointment as Assistant Professor at the University of Ioannina, Greece. She completed a PhD on Cardiovascular Disease Epidemiology (2006) and a MSc (Distinction) in Quantitative Genetics and Genome Analysis (2002), both at the University of Edinburgh, UK. Her research interests include prognostic risk factors and prognostic risk models for chronic diseases, the study of exposome using novel approaches as well as meta-epidemiology, empirical research methods and evidence-base.
